"Live Free or Die" Rifleman's Knife - made by Nick Peel
Hand forged 1095, hand forged furniture. Big knife with good balance and feel. The handle is naturally offset to the right and feels really good for a right handed person. Antler handle riflemans knife
Antler handle knife made from 1084 high carbon steel with poured pewter bolster. Knife is 12 1/2 inches long with blade being 7 1/4 long x 1 3/8 inches wide x 1/8 inches thick.Handle is a shed antler. Blade has been differentially heat treated to give a good edge for staying sharp thru a lot of use. Blade is stamped with my touchmark and has a patinaed finish. Billy Heck Rifleman's Knife
A fine Rifleman's Knife by Tennessee artisan, Billy Heck. Billy carried this knife while portraying Joseph Martin at Wilderness Road State Park, where he is a lead interpreter. The knife is 14-1/2" OAL, with a 10" blade. The tang is tapered, full length and features a forged bolster with slab bone handles riveted to the tang. This is truly a beautifully crafted knife with an honourable provenance. Sheath is included. $350, plus shipping. CONUS

Bone handle riflemans knife with forged 5160 alloy steel blade. Knife is 14 3/8 inches long x 1 1/2 inches wide x 3/16 inches thick. Blade is 9 1/2 inches long. Knife has a oval shaped brass guard that has a groove filed around the circumference and a brass buttcap. Knife has a hidden tang that extends to the buttcap that has been machined to have a hidden nut inside the handle that screws into the tang. This feature tightens the whole knife,guard handle and buttcap into one assembly that makes a very solid knife. Blade has been differently heat treated to produce a very hard edge for holding a sharp edge thru lots of use and a softer back to allow flexing without breaking. The temperline or hamon is approximately 1/2 inches wide. The bone handle has been polished and has some color but since bone is somewhat porus, it will darken with use. Blade has been stamped with my touchmark. Knife comes with a heavy duty leather sheath with a beltloop that will take a wide belt. I will take a money order or paypal. Shipping is $10.00. Coil Spring Long Hunter made Nick Peel
