Bag and Horn Set

Rustic bag and horn set. Bag is made from split elk lined with pillow tick and walnut hull dyed. Horn is simulated rawhide repair, simple engrailing. This is a large horn, 14 inches around curve. The base is 10 inches in circumference. Includes antler turned vent pick and horse hair pan brush. $160 + $10 shipping.

Quilled Otter Bag and Pipe Set

The otter is 52 to the end of the tail to the top of the bag. Tail and leg panels are covered in smoked brain tanned buckskin. Quilled and edge beaded with 8.0 chalk white beads. The bag is decorated with 38 brass hawk bells, antique shell beads, old trade beads, 4 silver brooches and antiqued red trade wool. Included in the set is pewter inlaid pipe, the bowl is black steatite, 3 inches in length, 2 3/4 inches in height. 15 inch sour wood stem in a carved spiral design. Decorated with smoked brain tanned, buffalo fur, trade wool, old trade beads and stone pendant, also in the set is a small tobacco bag from brain tanned leather, edge beaded, decorated with trade beads and silver brooch, it is 5 1/2 inches in length and 3 inches in width. small tobacco tamper, made from bone and wood, decorated with trade beads, copper cones and dyed deer hair tassels. HERSHEL HOUSE SMALL WOODBURY STYLE KNIFE

Small size Woodbury style blade. Forged from a piece of hay rake tine, tough steel. Tempered tough and limber. 4 1/8" from tip to poured pewter collar. 7" overall. Through tang riveted down on a sterling silver end cap. Spike deer crown handle. Well textured for good hand control. I was delighted when my friend Al West sent a small skull no bigger than a Florida Key deer by Cousin Willie. Bleached white found in the Bull Creek area on the north side of Green River near Woodbury. One antler used here.
